The Z is great as a daily driver except in snowy areas, but with some good snow tires should be alot better. I have a 95 corolla that I use as a beater and is a good idea for anyone with a Z. Skip a mod or 2 and buy yourself a beater. Paid 1,500 for it with 118k miles. Runs great. Looks terribleThe only thing is it's REALLY hard not to jump in the Z when I come out of my house in the morning, because the Rolla just sucks. Good on gas though. I split it up and will put about 10K a year on the Z and 10k on the Corolla. The Z sleeps for Most of the winter.

I find myself driving my mom's Civic alot. The 350Z can't do it all by itself. It's not good for weekly long drives, b/c it'll burn up gas quick. I use the Civic when I have to drive over to my gf's house late at night.

drove my z from seattle to san jose for 4th of july weekend (15 hours each way with breaks). Incredible drive, the Z was confortable, stable, and incredible to drive. My passenger was commenting on how comfortable and stable the ride felt
