quick question...
is it possible for a Z to have come without the factory CD player?

The current Z im looking at has had the whole cd/tape area replaced with an alpine system. The wife of the seller says the original didnt even have a factory CD player... possible?

its an 04 model.

 

Every Z has a CD / FM / AM. Touring models have 6-CD changer / FM / AM / Tape with "premium sound". Even though my fully loaded Track model has the same stereo as a base model... I don't understand why they couldn't put something better in such an expensive model.

 

I am not sure she if knows what she's talking about. There's no option for gaping hole and tangled wires sticking out of dash, if that's what you're asking. Maybe they requested that it be removed prior to delivery, but really that doesn't make much sense.

 

Impossible. Why would you listen to a seller's wife? Maybe she meant didn't have navigation, but ALL 350Zs ship with AM/FM/CD players there is no radio delete option.
