I've had my '03 DB Track for over 2 years and haven't gotten tired of the color. In fact, I like it more and more every time I look at it. Mine has some powdered silver mica in it, very light, which really sparkles in the sun. It's subtle but I've noticed that where there is shading, the color changes from bright to dark tones. Very pleasing.

Get the color you want. And IMHO, ya can't go wrong with the blue.

 

I have a DB right now. I would have gotten the UY, but that didn't come out until 05. Plus my 2001 Mustang GT was yellow so didn't want to have 2 cars in a row yellow. DB is a nice color bacause it is not too loud looking and not too many of them out there like silver.

 

+1- You can listen to her OPINION, but at the end of the day choose the color YOU want, like people have already said she has no say, and for you to even post this and say "my GF wants me to...." shows your pu$$y whipped

 

lol My g/f and I are approching one year Thanks for the post guys, made me feel much better. Went out to get new glasses with my sister today and I had the latest issue of Speed Magazine with the 350Z shootout. I showed her the Colors in there (Redline, Silverstone, Black, Ultra Yellow and of course Daytona Blue). I asked her what she thought of the DB and she said, and I quote, "wow, that's flamin." Stupid Sisters! To bad I don't give a rats tushie what my sister thinks, I will go with the DB

Chrome silver looks blah compared to silverstone when you put them next to each other. So I say rule CS out. Liquid alluminum isn't that special either. If your going with silver, theres only one silver-stone.

Thats a funny comment, thats what the sales man said to me when I said I wanted a Daytona blue and they did not have any. Obviously I still wanted the daytona blue so they traded with another dealer, and it was brought to me by towtruck free of charge

 

I went to a Ford Dealership 3 weeks ago or so to look (just look) at the Mustang GT. I told the dealer I was just browsing. But he insisted I drove it. Ok fine, just wasting his time. (BTW the girl was with me). I ask him some questions to see if he knows his stuff well, he didn't. I swear some sales people are 15 and don't know poop. He happens to have a Black 350Z. I said, "Do you like it" He said "its alright". I then said well, why do you have it and not this mustang. He said, "Because I like the Z" Obviously he was trying to sell me the mustang. The color is that stupid bright bright red color and automatic transmission. We get back to the dealer and he says. "Yup this car has it all!" I asked him, "Oh yeah, well where is the flux capacitor?" He kinda went blank. He made me sit down at his stupid desk. I was like, If i get a GT (which I won't) It would have to be stick, not automatic, and not that hedious red color. He said, well why don't you buy the one outside! (the automatic, red one). Ugg stupid dealers. Makes me want to! As we drove away, he took out a smoke. heh

 

You like DB, then get it. Your treasure is where your heart is!! I wanted SB and it's a little more work keeping it clean, but it looks great when I'm finished. Never say why didn't I get this or that. Enjoy!!

- the dealer said there was a 3 month wait on xxx colour
- it was an ex-demo model and i saved thousands
to shut her up
