Sounds like you already made up your mind to go with the Blue, but just let me give you one more vote of confidence. I wanted the Blue the first time I saw it with the frost leather, I was just waiting for the roadster to come out. By the time it did I was waffling back and forth between the Black, the Redline and the Blue. I ultimately decided on the Blue and I can't tell you how many people have told me that is their favorite color on that car. I get compliments all the time from both genders. And after 7 months I think she looks more beautiful than the day I brought her home.
You will not get sick of the color. The only time I ever get sick is when I think that I almost went with a different color, and the worst one of all, I almost bought the STI instead.
Hopefully your GF will understand, but if she doesn't and she turns your decision into some statement that you don't respect what she wants or consider her opinions and what will that mean down the road in the relationship, then that is a SERIOUS red flag!
Good luck with the Blue, you won't regret it!

Good man!!
Now, a suggestion. Take your GF to a nice restraunt or buy her a nice gift (dress, etc.). Not a bad idea to let her know she is important to you even if you were not going to let her decide color.
On a somewhat different level (but the same base idea), when I bought the Brick my wife had little input. And she was somewhat miffed I got a manny tranny. To make her feel she was getting some "goodies" I went along with a new refer, rear deck, & other stuff for the house. Plus we finished several Zzz drives at nice restraunts.
Point being, you have to hold the line on what's important to you but find areas where your "other" gets some strokes too.

Good choice on the DB. I personally like the silver-stone, you can make it look classy, or sporty which ever way you go with it. It just depends on what you're going to do with the car after you buy the Z. I'm going to try to color coordinate the silverstone Z as much as i can, some black, some gunmetal, when i get my car, and do my mods, i hope you guys will be amazed.

my girlfriend never even knew i was buying a car that day let alone what color it might have been. i left a message for her at work just saying "it's blue" getting home got me mixed results, but i was single a week later so it really didn't matter, hahahha. sounds good to me as the Z can really pull alot of a.s.s. hahaha

I really am interested in only 1 color at this point, red. Silver is everywhere and my current vehicle of 8 years is silver (I'm sick of silver) and I've never owned red, always wanted to own at least 1 red vehicle in my life, so I'm leaning towards red myself. I thought about blue but I didn't really like they way it looks when the windows are tinted. Plus it looks like it will show scratches almost as easy as black, Plus the blue reminds me of the 2 blue Yamaha R1's I had which I now don't. LOL Black is a pain in the a$$ to keep clean but looks good when clean. I want to spend more time driving and less cleaning:-D Red will probably show swirl marks too but ask me if I care:-P

Who ever is paying for the car is the person that has the say so.... she might not be your girlfriend forever and with that said, you don't wanna be stuck with a color you don't like. A car isn't like a house, you can't just go to wal-mart pick a color and paint over it when ever you feel like. Get what YOU like... screw eveyone else!

My color choosing process... Thinks to myself what color do I want? Silverstone Metallic looks nice, asks GF what color do you think I should get? GF says "how bout black?" I say "cool, silverstone metallic it is!"
That being said I am kinda sad I didn't get a black or white one. >.<
