What is stock 0-60 time?
I've searched the forum and found a few peoples 0-60 times, but I can't seem to find any kind of documented, "official" 0-60 time. I would have thought NissanUSA would have it, but it doesn't seem to be listed there either (?).
Can anyone point me to an official (or widely accepted) listing of the 0-60 time for the Z? (Performance trim, if that matters).
Thanks in advance!

motor trend it always the nicest to the Z
some put it as high as 5.8
but there is a real good comparison in the latest issue of R&T :SPEED where they test 4 F/I Zs . they tested a stock 05 performance model for reference and they turned in a 5.5 with it

And by the way your post was useless, and about as amusing as a peice of ****.
I usally saw 5.5-5.7 in the magazines, and that is with the shitty stock tires, I wonder if they put some different tires on the stock rims, what the 0-60 would be....

the C6 will do 4.9 with with the back loaded up with cement
motor trend and corvette quarterly put it at 4.2 and R&T has it at about 4.5
i dont have a way to test 0-60 but my 1/8 mile times were a good .6 seconds faster in my C6 than the Z if that means anything

Ive heard 5.4-5.8.
The average good driver should be in that range i think. The best I think I got was a 5.9.
Now with the TT I'm able to get a 4.30. With the vette's gearing and "ability to stay in 1st to hit 60" I think it can probably do a 4.2 by a professional. Most drivers will probably get high 4's.

4.3 with TT is good....i just read the latest Sports Car issue that had 2 turbo Z's, 2 Supercharged Z's and a stock one for comparison. The best 0-60 was 4.9 seconds. The FI setups really only improved 1/4 mile times. 4.3 to 60 is awesme...congrats!!!!

If there is a lot of A holes, stay away....simple as that. Posts like Johns were totally unecassary, and like he said, not very funny. He is forgiven.
Again, a totally unecassary post by another, GreenVette95....whats the point of being here?
If the Vortech did change the 60 time by a tenth, it was probably because they tested it on stock tires, and as we know, in stock form they have no grip, with an S/C? I bet the MPH in the trap was high though :P :P

no i was wrong it was the axis sport tuning Z that only had a tenth better with 358bhp
but its 1/4 stepped up to 13.5 vs the stock 14.2
the vortech was the fastest 4.9 and 13.0 at 110.5mph
