Default A simple TPS question. Why don't I have it?

OK to make things simple here I have an 04.5 Enthusiast trim. To my understanding it is suppost to have the Tire pressure monitoring system.

I know its an enthusiast, b/c it has the HID, crusie and the TCS.

Can someone chime in here and tell me what I am missing?

I scroll through the trip computer and after the timer thing it goes back to MPH

Its been 3 months and just now I got around to checking it out.

Thanks

-Rob

The TPS only came in the Touring and Track model if I remember correctly for the '04's. I have an 04.5 track, and I have (had) it.

I have an 05 enthusiast and I have TPS. But since I have aftermarket rims the pressure doesn't show.

I meant I didn't install it on the aftermarket rims. I left it on the stocks.

According to Edmunds.com, the 2004 Enthusiast DID NOT come with the TPS. The TPS feature was included starting with the Performance model & up (i.e. Touring, Track).

Your build date is 06/04

Tire Pressure System is NOT applicable to your 350Z...

You DO have HID's...

Well thanks Jason for looking up my VIN.

Originally I thought the dealer stole the TPSs out of my tire.

Don't think I am crazy, Take a trip to Marlborough Nissan, and you will see how shady they are and get that impression too.

Your car Technically is not a 04.5...

I am not 100% familar on when the TPS became manditory but I know they are in ALL 2005 Models.

Starting 2006 it will be required for all passenger vehicles being sold in the US...

yeah its a saftey thing...

thank ford and firestone for this one... (along with other stuff....)

most tire blow outs are caused from low tire pressure or even too much... This they think will help that...

What build date makes a 04 a 04.5??

I have all the upgraded things that make it an .5

knee pads, shoulder belt guard, and I forget what else.
