Default I am in the same boat

I am thinking about the same issue. but I want a track model. does anyone know more about the specs of the new model? I don't care too much about the interior as I plan to change them anyway. (the cockpit is the weakest part of this great car IMO) I would hate to see the new model have more HP or better suspension, Wheels as I plan to get the NISMO parts.

same amount of hp and such. this is a mildy mid gen change so it wont be a lot but we'll see i guess. and do u think the cockpit is weak really? imo its better looking than the g35 lol.

I think it would look much better if some parts would be painted in the same color as the outside. No big issue, just which it would look a little bit more sporty ;-)

OK here is my $0.02.

I have been lurking around these forums and postings questions and waiting to purchase my Z. I have finally started to call the dealerships to place a pre-order on my 06 Z. Here are my reasons:

- I understand that the cost will only go up $300 - $500. Yet for this ammount of money we are getting the motor off of the 35th Anniversary.
- So 300HP for a small price, normally you'd have to add the Cat back, CAI, cheat the ECU and go on a diet to loose 30 pounds to acheive the 300HP.
- If you are like me, you want a roadster. The roadster DOESN'T come in a 300HP flavor for 03-05, but I understand that the 06 should.
- If you DON'T plan to swap out the factory radio, you'll wanna wait for the 06 because it is gonna have an CD Player with MP3 capabilities.

In short, if you are gonna mod like crazy go cheap (the older the better), if you plan on going mostly stock go 06.

Here is a link to the thread that shows the 06 changes:
