About the blind spot....
Hi everyone,
As a 350Z noob (I got it two days ago), I was wondering how everyone is going about handling the big blind spot on the car when driving. Did anyone get any blind spot mirrors, or anything else to remedy this? It's kinda scary on the highways here in Los Angeles....
Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks again.

Yep, the convex mirror works great.
Also, I've noticed after 2 months of driving mine, you get used to the view you get when looking over your left or right shoulder and begin to get accustomed to what the view looks like when there is a car on your left/right rear (along with the input you get from the rearview/sideview mirrors).
I guess not only the car has a break-in period

When I test drove the Z the mirrors were the only negative. The one my wife carries in her purse is larger than the Zzzzzzz's side mirrors.
Any chance one of the after-market companies will make replacement mirrors that do a better job?

I always peak over my shoulder. only way to be positive that your clear... I have trouble with the covex mirrors, the distortion throws me off too much. I just dont feel safe.
and for highway situations, ALWAYS look. the guy 2 lanes over may be merging into the same lane as you. that spells disaster, and no mirror will see that.

Yeah, between the mirrors and checking over my shoulder before I make a move, I'm having no problem at all. That really surprised me when I first drove it, because after all the comments, I was expecting them.
