No doubt about that...And in that regard, I'm sure we are the car salesman's worst nightmare (especially the used car guys who don't even get the chance to nail down one specific brand line-up). Car sales isn't a job I'd ever want to do, so I try to be nice to the guys. On the other hand, I like to think I'd be more aggressive about learning the ins and outs of the cars I was trying to sell than some of these yahoos are that assume every customer is stupid or uninformed.

Cool

While we're on the same subject.....

I went to the Toronto Auto show last year and I went to the Nissan display where they had a number of Z's, one of which, had aftermarket orange suede seats in it and of course I wanted to take a much closer look and feel the interior. A "rep" came to us right away and said, "Sir please stay away from the car" (eventhougth the doors were wide open) he then said, "beleive me sir this car is really fast....u might want one one day".....

Ok now I don't know if its because I'm a 29 year old who looks 20 and he thought I was too young or if he was just an a-hole, but I pulled out my keys and shoved them in front of his face and said "I already OWN one....and believe me, it's really fast!"

I was going to stick the key in his adams apple, but I didn't want to get blood on it....

His face got redder than the redline parked on the other side of him....B1TCH!

Man, this thread is hilarious.

Next time you should park your Z next to some other ones at the dealer...then walk into the shop and say you want to test drive (point to your's) and ask to get the keys. Then say oh wait, that's mine!

I walked up to a 40 year old guy looking in my car at the Home Depot, he was wearing an orange apron and was pushing carts, probably to fill in while he wasn't woring in hardware, but anyhow, he's like "this is a nice car" and I'm like..."thanks" and he's like.."oh, it's yours, wow". Those years in college and hard work at the office payed off and now I am enjoying the fruits of my labor.
