+43 offset wheel for a day?
I blew a tire, but still hope to make it to an autocross this weekend. The tire won't be here until Monday. Somebody offered the use of one of their wheels / tires. It's a 17x8 wheel with +43 offset and 5x114.3 lug pattern. It's from a Ford, but I think it will fit fine for one day's use. Can anyone recommend or not recommend this? What's the effect of this significantly higher offset? I think stock is +30. This wheel is +43. It just means the wheel sticks outward 13 extra millimeters, right?
