Credit Union approved my new car loan this weekend so I am off to get a Z in the next couple weeks. My question is about waiting to buy an 05 when the 06s come out, or if that makes no difference at all. I am not going to wait a few months just to save maybe $500, but wondered if there was a significant advantage to waiting over not waiting.

 

This topic has been posted MANY times. Do a search on the 2006 specs and decide for yourself. Personally I am going to wait because of these major sticking points for me:

1.300HP motor Roadster
2.MP3 player stock /w controls on the steering wheel

I just pre-ordered my Z. The pre-order goes into the system officially on August 9th, 2005.

I am interestsed in buying an 05 new, and wondered if waiting until the 06 comes out lowers the price on the 05s enough that makes it worth waiting.

 

It depends on pricing if they can give a discount below MSRP than I would get the 05. If a color is an issue, and other featuers than special order it? I bought my Zs from Herb Gordon Nissan in Silver Spring, MD. Ask for Russell States tell him Alan sent you he will give you an honest deal. Good luck!

 

I went with the 05 35th Ann. Edition the dealers had a lot on the lots here in Central Florida and they were willing to deal $500 over dealer invoice. I was happy with the price and they did not try to push a lot of extras at me to raise their profits. They are trying to get them off the lots to have room for the 06 so you might find a good deal.
