For those who sold your Z, what is the best way? Did you advertise it on auto trader, newspaper, parking lot and so on. Did you get what you wanted for? Thanks!

Reason for selling is I planning to buy a house!

 

just live in the Z hehehe nah but i think autrotrader would be a good way to go...

 

When I sold my 300z to get my current car I posted on a couple 300zx websites (ttNET, 300zxclub) and on auto trader. It was gone in less than a week.

 

Selling a 300Z is one thing...selling a 350 is another. There's plenty of new(er) ones out there, not very rare right now, so there's a lot of competition. It won't be easy, but if you offer a fair price you may get lucky. I'd say local autotrader is the way to go.

 

I haven't sold my Z (obviously), but I've sold a few cars over the years and it seems no matter how much I advertise it, the ONLY thing that works for me is parking it on the lawn in front of a busy street. Sells in no time (if its priced right).

The pros I've talked to about this same subject swear that the best way is to take a nicely worded ad out in the biggest newspaper in the area for at least a week, sometimes 2.
