Default Traded in my G for a Z

I traded in my 4 month old fully loaded 18" wheel nav and all Silver Infiniti G35 Coupe for this.

Black 2005 Touring Manual Z.

I don't regret it one bit. I would see the Z from time to time on the road and just fell in love with it.

I also added the eclipse avn5435 with the rear camera.

Lost about 2 g's. The smile on my face everytime I'm driving it makes up for it.

Nice. Did the same trade. A black/graphite loaded 6MT G for a fully loaded black Track Z.

Congrats! You're also going to make a very happy G owner whoever buys the slightly used G you left at the dealer.

May I suggest you get a nice set of rims that fit your style!

Can you tell us how the two cars compare in terms of the driving experience?

I'm looking for some nice chrome rims. I'm not sure if I should get 18"s or 19"s.

Well I had an automatic G so the Z seems much faster. The G seems to be a smoother ride but the Z seems to handle better.

The rattling in the G drove me freakin insane. Sometimes the rattling was so bad that I did not want to drive it. I haven't had any problems with rattling in my ZR.

glad to hear you're happy with change/choice (even though you took a sligth hit on the cost).

that's a loaded and common question. if i answer either way, i'll get flamed by the other side. best to use the search function and educate yourself.
my opinion based on my own research is that 18s offer better ride, handling, performance, gas economy, and are much cheaper than 19s, but the 19s are said to fill the wheel wells better and look better.

Probably helps with the top up. I don't know about the ZR but I had an Eclipse Spyder before the Z and the rear window was small as heck.

I took my G back in two days because of the rattling. The manager still swears he can't hear it and has never heard anything about it. If you called today and asked if anyone had a problem with rattling, he will have already forgotten about me.

This is a known problem with the G? I'm still deciding which to buy, but I spend all my time on the Z forum because thats what I really want. Even tho I wouldn't mind the back 2 seats.

So do you mind if I ask how much the rear view camera setup set you back? I'm interested in getting something like that as I think the rear view visibility is freakin poor, but I am also rather poor since I bought my Z... I may just have to learn how to turn and look over my shoulder more efficiently.
