Question Floor heat

Is it me or is the Z one hot car(well it is on the outside ). I have had it for 3 weeks now and wondering like after 2 or 3 hours of straight normal driving my legs start to get a little warm and I can feel heat coming from the transmission. My parents and my sister say the same thing. Whats with all the heat?

I'm no "expert" like the rest of owners on this site, but I've had mine since April and have noticed the same thing. A friend of mine rented a Viper and there was alot of heat coming from the engine compartment as well. Must be common for sports cars(?)

I've seen several people comment on this but I haven't seen it myself. I took two 10+ hour road trips in the Z and didn't notice any of the floor or transmission tunnel area being unusally warm.

It's normal. I turn my air controls to face only and shut all the vents to keep the hot air from the engine from sneaking through the vents even when the airs not on.

I turn on AC and vent it to face and feet so it cools down below too. You can keep your feet warm in winter.

Same here, you can feel the heat coming up from the driver side of the car. Everytime I get out I feel a blast of heat on my leg from underneath.

my Z does this only when my ac is off and i have it on the non circulation feature ( the one that allows the air from outside to get in). my friends S2K does this as well, so dun worry too much about it.

I just got back from the dealership and the tech told me to turn the air on recirculate instead of fresh air. It helps a whole lot
