Default my tire pressure sensors are whack!!!!

i was driving today to NJ to meet up with some friends and a warning beep came on and my tps starting flashing, indicating low tire pressure. at first i thought this was awkward and i was kinda annoyed cause i had just purchsed new tires not so long ago. then suddenly, the display reads 0 psi! that's impossible, i was going like 50 something. so i pulled over to take a look and my tires look perfectly fine. so i continue driving and then the psi reading started to jump around any where from 0 to 36. so i pulled over to a parking lot and used my portable tire gauge and all my tires read around 36. but my psi readings show around 39-40 for my 3 other tires and 0 for one of my rear tires. ghettos yo. driving back to pa, again my psi readings kept on fluctuating and when the pressure got low, the warning beep would come on and the tps display would flash. so annoying! does warranty cover tire pressure sensors cause i remember seeing somewhere that they're pretty expensive right? i found it strange how the tps sensors were reading like 3-4 psi above my reading from my portable tire pressure gauge, that's not normal right? guess i'll call monday and have nissan check em out. ghettos right?! that's the scariest feeling, watching your psi drop slowly to 0! any thoughts guys?

Definitely sounds like something is wrong with one of the pressure sensors in your wheels. Could be a bad sensor... or could be the sensor's battery going dead? Not sure what the expected lifespan of those things is. Either way, probably have to swap out the sensor that's giving you troubles.
