Anyone think the FX35 sounds better than a 350Z?

i love how some fellow 350z owners are saying that "they all sound the same from the outside" but there is a definite difference. It's not just the timbre of the exhaust that makes the sound. I can always tell that its one of the FX/G35/350z exhaust apart for some reason. maybe its because my ears are very sensitive... but i'll know that although it sounds like the Z but it's definitely not it.

Pops might have a point there though--- I mean their engines may be similar but the fact is they are designed specifically for the cars they're built, and just the overall design of the car itself may affect what kind of sound you're hearing. That's probably why (if you're around them often like pops is) people can notice the difference.

In the FX, I find that exhaust has a deeper, throatier sound than compared to the Z, both in startup and under revs. Inside the 350z, the sound is still pleasing, but the exhaust note is overcome by the sound of the engine/intake.
Haven't compared from the outside, so the two may very well have similar exhaust notes. Just from inside the cabin, the exhaust note is more evident in the FX.
I understand that the Z probably has less sound-proofing material, but what can I do to make the car sound more like the FX, or rather, more overall pleasing. New intake, new exhaust?
I have a stock 287bhp 350Z and comparisons were made with a stock FX35.

I think the FX35 looks like some sort of moon rover or something. I saw one in a parking lot that had what looked like 20's on it and it look like something that should be crawling over craters rather than a parking lot.
