Does anyone know where I can get a stock dvd player to hook up to my navigation system. Instead of me actually having to go to the dealer????

 

When you say "stock" what exacty are you looking for? I was unaware of any OEM DVD players in the Z. Do you mean the DVD-ROM for the OEM Nav system?

 

Well the navigation system comes with a dvd rom just behind the seat which just plays the navigation cd. So I'm looking for a dvd player to hook up to the navigation system to I can play movies...

 

Okay, then. I installed the Pioneer SDV-P7 in dash unit. They were discontinued at the end of 2004 but I was able to find quite a few on-line (10 or more on ebay). since it's a single DIN unit you could put it in the other compartment. I happen to mount mine in the dash under my new HU.

I have after market Nav as well though so I have no idea how you'd integrate with the OEM screen. My guess is it can be done though.

The cost was under $300.00.
