Default Modify to 06 Z parts?

After the 2006 Z is on the market, how many of u would buy the new LED tails, etc, and put them in ur car?

the parts seem to be pretty much the same structure and fitment.

my buddy has an 2001 civic and he replaced the front bumper/fenders, headlights, taillights, hood, and rear bumper to convert it to a 2004. looks identical. i wouldnt do all that, but if the headlights and taillights are interchangable, why not change them

Reading this thread sounds very familiar to previous threads...

Type in "LED 06" or something like that into the "Key Word(s):" field.

And the correct answer to your question is 7. Oh, I mean, yes I would buy the taillights if they aren't 400 dollars.

My question would be do we have to do anything to the springs or suspension to have 18" wheels in the front and 19" wheels in the back like the 2006?

I want to replace my door panels and center console with the '06 models parts. They look much better and are more functional. I wouldn't get the taillights because I prefer the non-led ones. I like the new headlights though.

Just Order the parts from your local dealer. LED, Front lights, interior mods. I would give it 1-2 months till dealerships can order those parts.

Some people here are waiting to start swaping parts with the 2006 model because the parts probably fit.

I'd guess around $150 per door panel and $200 for the center console. I don't know why I'm guessing those prices but I am. LOL

I found prices from an unofficial source of some 04 parts, and figured the prices of the 06 parts would be similar(except for maybe the head/tail lights and other electrical items).

interior door trim - $365(per side!!!)
steering wheel - $583(w/cruise)
front bumper - $210
CD Player w/cassette - $1200(!)
Headlight assembly w/xenon - $622(per side)

These prices are from nissanpartscheap.com

I'm not sure if these are the lowest RETAIL prices out there. But I think they give us an idea of the the cost of the 06 parts. Unfortunately, it looks like we're all gonna have to sit back and wait for used/salvaged 06 parts. Also note that there may be other miscellaneous parts necessary for install. The way they list their parts is kinda confusing. Take a look for yourself.

My question is about the reverse? If my luck goes sour and I can't find an 05 track within the next couple of weeks. Do you think body kits from the 05 would fit the 06?

Yes, the exterior is still the same. The front bumper is a tad different(mainly the grill). But the attatchment points and all that should still be the same.

I called a Orlando Fl dealer and they told me that it will be probably on the (450.00) rage per door panel. The 03 04 05 list at 430.00 and about 300.00 for the console.

since the post is up, do you guys figure the new rear LED tailights will require any changes in the fuses or whatnot for the rear taillight assemblies? i.e. when you put LED bulbs in for your blinkers, the blinkers blink faster than normal?

I'm going to leave my car alone. Unless I can get those parts for cheap. You could buy a set of volks for the price of all the '06 changes. LOL

What happened to all the people that made fun of the 2006 look? haha.

True u need a resistor but the indicators are seperate and still filament globes

I doubt Nissan would run different wiring, if they had to do factor in the expense of re-wiring, the 06 would be sporting a different designed filament tail light

The tail lights are something i want, but ill have to weigh up the costs of the new lights vs the clear corners mods. I really like those LED slashes on the side, very hot at night and would match my sidemarker LEDs
