Default Personalized license plates????

Is their a way to check and see if a License plate is already taken here in Texas? I submitted a request for personalized license plates, but not sure if they will get denied because thet are in use. You had to submit 3 choices.

1st choice: JDM*Z33
2nd choice: JDM*350
3rd choice: Z33*JDM

How exactly do you start the process? Does it cost anything?

If your in TX, print out this form and fill it out.ftp://ftp.dot.state.tx.us/pub/txdot-...s/vtr-35-a.pdf Than mail it back with a $40dollar check and they should get back to you within two weeks.

I would have went down to your local tag office and then they can tell you right then and there if the one you want is taken with their computer. At least that is how it works in Florida, then you pay $35 and it takes 2 months to get your new plate.

In my opinion...JDM is overrated. You buy a 350z, not a Fairlady. You buy a 350z, not a Lamborghini (see sig).

Whats so overrated about it in the Nissan scene? In the honda scene I can understand but its just another form of styling for our cars. Same as VIP, etc......

The "JDM Style" is cool and you can modify your car to that effect but it's funny to see USDM cars called Fairlady and Z33 when they are US Spec RHD. It's like buying a Knights of the Roundtable shirt and changing the tag to Polo. And no I'm not for buying brand name items either.

I guess that applies towards 90% of the people on this site with Fairlady badges. To each their own.

You'll have to excuse 10TIL4. He's a little 'negative' about aesthetic mods. He's a performance guy, so all of us pretty boys who mod for looks get on his nerves.

Say YES to Lambo!!!

I'd definaelty take a lambo anyday!

I never understood why some people are so against apperance mods... Personally for my self, I perferr a nice sound system over exhaust, headers etc.. why? Because each $ spent beneifts me a lot more than an exhaust system or etc... a TurboKit on the other hand is something else
