Anyone else's Z stuck in the middle of the ocean?
My dealer called last week and said my car was due on Dec. 10. It is now Dec. 12 and I have no car. Just found out that my car is on a broken down boat. My dealer told me that there is another ship sailing to its rescue. Now I don't know when my car is coming and I am going on vacation next week until the end of the year. Looks like I have to wait till next year to open my Christmas present to myself. How funny is that? .......NOT!

I hope your car was not on the Haul Europe. Thats the ship that ran a ground in a typhoon and later caught fire. I understand there were 4800 cars on the ship and it was a total loss. I know Nissan and Toyota use the haul line for transport..
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you..

WayneTN,
I don't know if your car is on the same boat. My off load is in Jacksonville. You may want to call NNA.
k2we,
I hope your wrong about that boat catching on fire. How did you hear about that? Was it on the news?
What ever the case, I will find out more next week the status of my car.

jesperanza i had the same experience my dealer called me on thursday to say he'd just heard my car would be in on december 10th, but it's now the 13th and still no car...
after several calls to my dealer they don't really know what happened and why they were told the 10th and now they're saying it will be the original delivery date of 1st week of jan 03 (i placed order in september, and it was ordered october)...
i'm located in austin, tx so maybe it's the same ship / reason... let me know if you hear anything else

z_brit,
I just spoke with my dealer and they said that my car was not on the "haul europe" ship. BTW I did some research online and that ship was a total loss (around 4000 cars, but half the cars were KIAs). Anyway my dealer said they were going to call the folks at Jacksonville to find out the new ETA. That's all I know.
Here are some pics of the other boat (no one was injuried)...
