If you're worried about depreciation, wouldn't it be better to buy a 3+ y/o vehicle that's already taken the big hit to it's resell value?

You do know those are FWD, right? Atleast that's what i geard. If your getting a truck, get a real truck, it's like buying a v6 Mustang, WHY? I read this somewhere, "The Honda Ridgeline is like a minivan with a bed."
Don't mean to down you on your choice, and if you need more room, then so be it, but atleast get a real truck like a Ford or Chevy.

Its definitely not an investment for me to purchase a car. Of course its going to lose value, but the smaller amount the better. I dont like to go beyond 3 years or so b/c then, from my experience, reliability drastically drops and maintenance goes way up! I'd rather spend the money on payments for a new reliable car/truck than spend money on repairs and not have piece of mind for a safe trip.

A few years back my friend and I were in his silverado 4wd and hit water going about 55mph. We hydroplaned off the road. All happened so fast it was hard for him to react when driving. Luckily, there was no one or nothing in the way to hit. It was just farming property I think.
We finally came to a stop about 3 feet from a telephone pole. Needless to say, I hate driving in the rain now!

Wow, all that info about the gadgets and the cool-guy storage tricks has changed my mind about that thing. I used to think it was just ugly (I think the Titan and the Frontier are ugly too). It still is, but it's way cooler to me now that I know all those other things about it. I still favor the Ford or Chevy though. Mostly because they are the essence of what a truck is.

I like that truck! Honda has very good build quality. I doubt that truck will give you any problems.
I had to take my 1999 Civic to the dealer to replace the radiator resevoir cap and replacing a broken hood release lever; after that I never took it for warranty work again.
