Yeah, and they always make it sound really great but that deal on the altima you are putting $2K down and it's excluding taxes, title and documentation fees which would probably add up to a couple grand more. So, you really would be paying closer to $250, give or take, when all is said and done and you'd be $2K in the whole from your downpayment. Silly gimmicks.

Every marketing ploy has a ounce of truth as this one does. Dealers are more apt to “deal” on leftovers to clear the lot for 2006 vehicles. “Deal” does not mean fifty cents on the dollar. Study MSRP and invoice price, pick the car that you like, and offer your best price.
If you really want to pay invoice on a new 2005 Nissan 350Z, with out the dealer BS, then call me. I, Mr Z have been selling the Z since the pre-order days, with no BS.
