I always go the speed limit, 250 Knots under 10,000 ft msl and above that under mach 1 so you dont break the Speed of sound!

In the Z 165, 20 years old.

I'm 47 and pushed the Z to 148 mph. I was hoping for 150 but was running out of road and pedal.

BTW, the car will be 2 years old next month and it has 4,400 miles on it, it's a garage queen. It's the wife's car so I don't drive it much, maybe I'll push my Titan up to see what it's got for top end. Maybe not though, a crew cab doesn't quite handle like the Z.

Wow, a Titan and a Z! Me too, I have an '04 Crew Cab as well. I wonder if the 5.6 would fit in the Z. That'd be somethin else, huh?

We also have a '95 200SX SER in the garage, we're a Nissan family

I'm not sure I'd waste time trying to stuff the 5.6 in the Z just to gain 16 hp, pretty sure I'd put a supercharger or turbo on the V6 for additional ponies instead.

I'd kill to sit in the right seat of a Citation....
What year is this Arrow?.... They make for a very nice single hperformance bird.... I hope all the AD's pertaining to the wings have been complied with as there's one in my AME's hanger for major spar work....
Bushflying is great!, Tons for great stories thats for sure!lol!!!
Not a C-195 but rather a C-180.... I also own and operate a DHC Beaver as well.
Goodluck with your ATPL, I dont know if the regs in the US are much diff then in Canada, but overhere getting your ATPL is hard, and is regarded as quite the accomplishment,
Happy Tail Winds,
Louis

Thanks, flying the citation was absolutely awesome, but i think the best time ive ever had flying was with one of my dad's flying buddies. He has a YAK-52 and he took me up for a few hours and he taught me a bunch of aerobatics, it was an experiance... Yes the Arrow i am looking at is an 81, ive looked into the the ADs and my buddy is a AME and we are gonna to go through it before any $$ is talked. You should start a thread in everything goes about all the crazy stories, there is an retired Alaskan bush pilot that hangs out at our airport and some of his stories are unbelievable. But it sounds to me like you have quite a nice setup, for bush flying. I have a great story about a C180 and the FAA!! aome other time...

With the top down, it is a little noisy!

If you drive faster than 130 mph, then you get younger right?

Default Oldest Z driver

I was 73 when I purchased my Z - soon had it up to 110+. I had a 1990 350ZX- purchased it new - had it up to 125 a couple times! Really hugged the road and felt good. I love to go up mountains - taking the curves at 75 to 85 MPH - passing everything in my way. ( of course my trusty Passport is always on at those speeds )
