I've read the threads on the ages of Z drivers. Now I wonder who is the oldest Z driver on the forum, and their top speed so far? I'll be 70 in Dec. and did 105 MPH for a short burst. This wold be interesting. SB 05 Touring.

 

You are quite possibly one of the coolest 70 year olds I know of. Keep it up (no pun intended).

Yeah I def hope Im in your shoes by that age. And not running aroung hollerin at all the youngins and their suped up hover cars.

Damn ZRA. I was born in 1949, and thought that I was the most senior 350Z driver. No matter how hard I try, I just can’t win any of these polls.

 

63; 120 mph.

 

My Dad just got an SLK 350 and he is 87! He keeps it around 80-85 when hes cruising on the freeway.

He is the coolest!

I want to get a friend to drive it and race me in my Z and see how it compares.

 

26..... 2:30am 350Z ZR 151mph against a red 1992 300zx Twin-turbo which actually lost to me. :shrugs:

 

ZRA, you are one in a million. If there were more people like you, i wouldn't be stuck behind some slow a** **** doing 35 on a 50 MPH speed limit road.

ZRA, you do indeed "rock." Most guys your age remind me of a Pinkard & Bowden song, "Blue Hairs Driving in My Lane," sung to the tune of Hank, Sr.'s "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain."

As for me, I'm 37, old for this forum, but not yet "elderly." I may be paranoid, but I'll only say that I've "tested the limits" of my ZR at an "appropriate place"; in my profession, stating a specific mph could affect continued licensure.

 

I'm 63 and have a 2004 roadster with an APS TT kit making 404 rwhp. I was at the drag strip (Infineon in Sonoma) last night with a number of other 350Z's from my area. I've had my Z up to 130 mph on a trip to Vegas (in Mojave Desert). My best time last night was 13.5, 105mph 1/4 mi. I've got to work on my launches.

of you older drivers, but maybe it counts for something.
