Official N.O. MY350Z casualty

Just more pressure on the middle class. Not only did we have to pay for their f'n welfare checks but now we have to pay to evacuate their dumb a**es for not leaving when told to. My best friend who lived there, left Sat...he knew it was coming. Everyone who lived there did. Most of them stayed to loot and didn't think it would be as bad as it turned out. The few law abiding citizens who really had no way of leaving should have been bused out by FEMA but they must have been sleeping at the wheel.

You know, I have been thinking for months that there were many egotistical, self-righteous sons of *****es here on this board. Funny thing is, I was right. High up on your thrones, nothing is right unless it went the way you thought it should. Sure, there is looting, rape, murder, and all sorts of atrocities going on in NO, but it is far from the majority of people down there doing all of this. Maybe more people could have evacuated to the Superdome, but you know what, they would have been in the same situation they are in now. For whatever reason, they did not get out of the city, but now we are faced with a situation where thousands of lives are at stake. As human beings, we have to save them and get things back in order. Like it or hate it, we'll foot the bill for this disaster, and life will go on. Until some of you get off your high horse and see through your clouded vision of reality, not much will get accomplished.
