Well, it's not like you have to launch the car at 6000 like other cars we know

Around there you should be fine, just make sure you have $$ for some new tires!

All your gonna be hurting is the life of the clutch an tires. Our stock trannys can handle a lot of abuse on stock tires. Drag slicks installed, you may start breaking stuff. But pretty much, your gonna break traction before you break drivetrain.

I thought the rear-end in these cars could take some abuse? Even with drag radials I bet you'd be ok (rear end wise). Its not like these cars make much power when stock. Your stock clutch wouldn't last too long though.

Never dealt with cars much, have ya? lol..

Clutches...are a "wear and tire" item..much like tires. IE, unless it is PROVEN to be installed incorrectly by the dealer/factory, then you cannot get one replaced. Any damage is USUALLY done by the act of driving, therefore not covering it. However..lets say if it just fails without abuse..then you have a case. But in how YOU are talking, no, not at all.

+1

The warranty only covers workmanship and manufacturer defects. If you caused the damage by hard launching or bad shifting, it's not covered under warranty
