Default Lowered Car With Front Lip

I was wondering if people who have lowered there car with the v1 front lip or the nismo front lip or any similar lip have had any problems with bottoming out on 18 in wheels. Please post what type of lip you have, what type of springs you have with how far it is dropped and wether or not you have had any problems.

As long as it isn't slammed down really low you should be alright except for speed bumps and big curbs. That's the biggest thing is to watch out for curbs.

veilside V1 lip & tein s-tech springs

not too many problems, but you'll have to watch out for large speed bumps, dips, steep incline driveways and those cement parking blocks. I also barely scrape when I drive into my underground parking garage.

Yep Vizage front bumper, Eibach Pro-kit....It's a real PITA on speed bumps, inclines, and pot-holes. If my car was a daily driver, I'd think twice.

V1 lip molded into the OEM bumper cover...dropped on ZEAL Function V-6 coilovers...disater waiting to happen on unfamiliar ground. Not a daily driver.

265/35 - 18F 295/35 -18R...avatar pic pre-drop

+1. here's my top secret diffuser with hotchkis lowering springs (.5-.75 drop all-around).

I used to have a Veilside Version 1 and Tein Flex with EDFC. I scraped the hell out of the bottom of the lip and constantly had to be concerned about not doing more damage so I got rid of the lip and changed the front bumper to a Stillen Version 1.

You should be fine. My car is the lowest Z around with only one car beating me out, which is James Chen's Axis full on race car being lower
