Default the unofficial "Z-Club" experience

HAHAHA...two situations i've encountered:
1. I was driving the other day on the freeway, and i passed up another Z that was driven by some blonde chick....i passed her up on the right and i guess she dropped gear and caught up with me and rode side by side with me...so, being the good sport I am, I set my car on cruise and let her just ride next to my car...then I looked over at her and she was waving and smiling...so I gave her the thumbs down and laughed...she smiled back and gave me the finger...haha...so i gave her the thumbs up and then she blew me a kiss....well...i kept my car on cruise, and she just rode next to me until she had to exit....

2. About a month ago, I was sitting at a light waiting to turn, and I saw this Z coming up to the intersection, and as he got closer to me, he flashed his hi-beams at me....after I turned, we happend to sit at the next light next to each others, then I saw him roll down his window and smiled over, so I rolled mine down to, then he said "nice car"...HAHAHA....so I answered "i know...yours too" and he started talking to me about where he go the car from and this and that....when the lights turned green...i kept pace with me next to my car.....haha

So...my question is this, anyone else out there do this? haha...I thought it was cheesy, yet satifying in a way...anyone ever had this experience? I'm sure ya all do....do share!!!

I see and keep pace with other 350's sometimes. I have quite a few 300's come chasing after me when they see me on the highway too. I blew away an NA one the other day, .

You're not the only one, I get thumbs up and smiles all the time from other Z drivers. On my way to work everyday I see two Z's, a blonde hottie going my direction which we give eath other the thumbs up and a dude going the opposite direction which flashes his high beams at us.

I have only driven by one other Z that waved to me... Nice guy in a Lemans that lives not too far from me...but i swear all the other ones are jerk offs. One example was the blonde chick that i waited up for on the freeway so i could say sup just to say hey cuz we both were sportin DBs. But i wait up and she pulls next to me and doesn't even look over or acknowledge that i'm there. Pretty lame, she probably didn't even realize we had the same car

Default If I mentioned the “flash” for Z drivers...

is that common knowledge here, or a little known greeting?

And i see about atleast 1 a week. And most of them are driven by freakin mid-life crisis women who cant drive for ****.

While driving my Z, I have acknowledged any other people driving their Z's... and each one has returned the favor.

wolf_350Z: I am glad you try to converse in English. It takes time to learn English. Some people haven't tried to speak/write a new laugage and do not know this. Don't get mad just explain as you have.

Yeah most of the guys here are pretty cool. You'll get a few that will kid or pick on you for the fun of it. But, for the most part it is just for fun.

I do not have too many posts on this Forum but have been around for a couple of years as you can see. However, I have just started to post here because the peeps on here are pretty cool and they don't flame too much.

If they start to flame you (give you a tough time), you can use my flame suit, OK?

Man, I wish I lived in Orange Co. You have some really good ZCar shops down there. Best to you .........

Default 240Z meets 350Z

On Sunday, I had a 1972 240Z that was in mint condition apear out of nowhere when I was stopped at a light.
He said that he spotted me and rushed down the road to catch up with me.

We pulled into an adjacent lot and had a good time bs'ng and looking at the engine and interior areas of each of our cars.

Unlike my car, I knew what all the stuff under the hood on his car did

He said Nissan really captured the spirit of the 240Z in the new model.

He had spent the past 2 years restoring the 240Z and was going to buy a 2006 base model 350Z because he wanted to mode the heck out of it.

I used to have a 240Z back in the 70's so it sure brought back some great high school memories and we had a nice chat about the car's good and bad years.
