Default Are We Still Doing the Flash Your Lights Greeting?

I read in this forum a long time ago that Z owners would often hi-beam each other when passing as a form of greeting or acknowledgement. I've done this to a few owners in MD and been ignored
So much for Zolidarity

I just wave when I see another Z person. Sometimes I get responses...more often I don't.

So we can take that logic and say.....
Most the rednecks live in the center of the country so there is a better than 1 and 3 chance youll get a wave back if you are in costal states with less rednecks. lol

I still flash my lights when I see another Z. Z's are still a rare enough ride here that I usually get a reply when I do it.

The town next to mine is Ultra-redneck. I've seen at the very least, 3 other Z owners wave back at me in that town in the past 2 years. I just saw one yesterday and he waved. This only seems to be for men though, chicks in Z's don't even acknowledge my Z. Maybe it's not my Z at all, maybe it's...that they are good drivers, concentrating on what they are doing. It can't be me. j/k

I know EXACTLY what you mean. Seem like the eastcoast is anti-friendly. I was livin on the border of Tn and Ky and it wasen't anything like this. Oh well. I don't let it bother me anymore. I wave and if they don't wave back, I don't care.

Except for once, I have been ignored everytime I have waved or flashed. It seems so embarassing that they dont respond when you are sitting at a light with all the other cars around you, you open the window and give thumbs up. Some just give you a confused look.

The ONLY time I got a wave back was from ANOTHER Chrome Silver Z Coupe pulling into a McDonald's as I was leaving. But I did have a nice convo earlier this evening with this dude outside of Home Depot with a LeMans Sunset Z after I parked my rental car...lol (Told him I had a Z, of course).

Otherwise, not a wave or thumbs up...nuttin....especially from the peeps in the Z Roadsters..guess they're too busy focusing on being noticed or just in a trance from having dat open air experience....who knows??

I almost feel like peeps in other Z's are like "damn...you screwing up da game, cuz I thought I had the ONLY Z in this town". Whateva yo.

Jeep Wranglers have the best greeting-to-driver ratio I've ever seen. just about every one of them does it. I guess only motorcycles have them beat
