i figured the rears would def outlast the fronts, i mean look at all that brake dust the fronts put out, the rears are not even close for dust output. but maybe its a different story at the track

the terrible sound is like nails on a chalkboard! that wear bar does the trick though, i immediately changed my brake pads to avoid hearing that screech

Same thing happened to me on the track. I was also shocked to see that the rear pads had worn so much quicker than the fronts. Must be the EBD (Electronic Brake force Distribution) kicking in on the track.

Same thing happen to me with Hawk HPS pads and I don't even track my car.

I think this happened because on Hawk HPS pads it does not have good intial bite when you first brake which causes my rear brakes to work harder.
(Just my opinion)

I will see how it is with my Project Mu B-Force Pads.

What pads were you using?

In the G35's, if you have your vdc on, your rear brakes will get fried during track use. I suppose it would be the same in the z if you have vdc.

I would go with Project Mu B-Force Pads. Best pads I used so far. It performs better than Hawk HPS.

I used stock (no ****), Satisfied Pro-Ceremics,Hawk HPS & Project Mu B-Force.

The only thing is you may get a little squeel here and there but nothing major. Just make sure you bed the correctly.

As for my pads, I barely have any(2-3 time a week just for few seconds)

I used Hawk HPS before and Project Mu B-Force is far superior ( At least on the street cus I don't track my car).

It has great initial bite.
