For those who have recieved new tires from Nissan
What size did they replace your front tires with? I finally got my tires replaced because of the tire growl problem. When I got home I decided to see if I can see any difference with the new tires. They are Bridgestone Potenzas RE040's but the size is 245/45/18. Is that what everyone else received as replacements? I dont understand why Nissan would put wider tires up front than what are suppose to come from the factory. For some reason I think the stealership messed up!

So I guess that is the way it is suppose to be then. I just figured they would keep them the original 225's, because by reading the letter the said they had special or a new type of tire made for this problem. Well RE040's have been around for a while now. I guess it was Nissan just blowing smoke up everyone's ***.

I got new front tires re the TSB. I just went to check and it says 225/45/18. You guys who got the 245's in the front... I can only think of 3 scenerios.
1. Your dealership is stupid and installed the old style rear tires in the front rims.
2. You guys already had 245 to begin with and they had to replace the number that you have.
3. I got screwed and got the 225 when I should have gotton the 245's like you guys did

Well I had stock tires on the car to begin with so your #2 is out the door. I guess we should contact Nissan USA to find out what size should have been used. It certainly doesn't make sense to supposedly find a solution for the problem and blame the original tires and then start putting one size tires on one car and another size tire on an another. There is a screw up somewhere.

Mike, are you positive about the Performance/Touring's having 18x8 all around?? If so, I'm gonna be so happy cause I've been wanting to run a 245 all around setup sooo bad, but I thought I'd need to buy different rims.
If this is the case, why do the front wheel hubs have that 6th "bolt" to prevent rotating front to back? If the rims were the same, the 6th bolt would be useless.. correct?
