Default READ THIS POST (is it just me...?)

Is it just me or is the interior in a 350Z really sweet!, And is it just my Z or whats the deal with allingment/tire feathering?? I have no problems no noise no tire wear down! I love the car its a '03 enthusiast and has 33k on it Ive had it for 7 months and LOVE everything about it!

Heres a hint to those that complain about the inside, if you dont like it DONT BUY IT! The interior is what made me wanna buy the car! Those sweet gauges in the middle was the selling pont, I LOVE Z's INTERIOR!!!!!!!!!!

i think its just you in terms of who's that excited about the Z's interior. a bunch of people flame on it, but i think its just great and it gets the job done with a few minor luxuries (stopclock timer, etc). it has the potential to look nicer, but the great value would then have to be compromised.

overall, i do like the interior

I'm with you 100% about the interior. The exterior is obviosly beautiful, but I also love the interior of it, it was one of the reason I fell inlove with the car. I'm can't say anything about the feathering because I don't have one yet, I'm still looking for a good deal; I would buy new but can't afford that right now.

I do't personally have any problem with the interior, I don't think it should be flamed as much as it is currently. Whenever friends or girls ride in it they said things like "Oh my god I've never been in a car like this! Look at all the gauges! I feel like I'm playing a video racing game!" All kinds of stuff like that all the time. Anyways, It's all good, diff people have diff preferences.

Default Spartan

I have seen some of the enthusiast magazines, as well as mainstream consumer mags, describe the 350Z interior as "spartan."

Well...duh! That's what I want in a sports car that is not a poser. For a few bucks more, I could have had a Corvette with what the magazines call a "nicely appointed" interior. No thanks! I'll take performance/value every time.

I want function and neatness. The 350Z interior delivers on that.

Nothing wrong with Z's interior material. Poly better than Vettes & SLKs imo. I hate those female critics. lolz

How many “quality of 350Z interior” threads do we have? There must be at least 10.

Basically for all those who put the interior down, no one forced you to buy the car. If you dont like the interior why did you buy the car, I know I wouldnt spend $30k on something I didnt like. IMO, theres nothing wrong with it, its comfortable and simple, the way it should be.

I would like to hear about what other ideas people have for the layout of the interior, I am not trying to ask about the quality of the plastic or the material texture, but the shape, design and layout of the interior.

Any pics mods of the interior that is considered better than stock.

I'm with you also. I can see that the plastics look/feel a bit on the lego side, but at least it looks pretty clean. When you look at some of GMs cars, you see the plastics dont fit very well together and on the dash especially with the heat. Some plastics are raised more than other parts. A few aftermarket parts and it's really not bad at all. I want a new shift ****...but for now, I will get some red model paint and with a toothpick, colour in the "R" on the OEM one. That might look alright.

I love the interior, I think the Z would look out of place with an ultra-luxorious interior.

I don't mind it at all, in fact, when I first drove mine I felt like I was sitting in a cockpit. And thats also the theme response from most my riders. Its always "wow, it feels like a cockpit" from passengers and ppl who I let drive my car.

Default Basic Rules

You let someone else drive your Z?

The 350Z basic care rules for passengers, in order of importance, are:

1. Only MY hands touch the steering wheel--exception for Nissan mechanic
2. No smoking, eating, drinking, or flatulence allowed in my 350Z--ever
3. If you use your foot to push open the door, it will be immediately amputated

Maybe I'm just paranoic (to say nothing of **** compulsive)
