Making a long story short, I was drifting at the target parking lot because it was raining. My friend said follow me while he drops off his little brother home. I said okay. I had my VDC off.... BIGGEST mistake. I forgot I turned it off while doing donuts. I was about to make a right turn while I was on third gear, I heel toe to second then out of nowhere my car does 2 full spins, gets on top of the curb and nails the speed limit sign. Luckily I didn't hit anyone. After I slapped it in reverse and got out to look at my car... My entire front bumper was GONE. I was nearly crying. Somehow it ripped my front bumper off.

My question is how much would it cost to repair this... I believe I need a new front bumper and a right side wheel well (also got ripped off). I don't think my frame is bent.. I'll upload pictures soon to show you guys..

I'm not going through insurance, my rates are already ridiculous. I'm paying cash for this which is the reason I'm asking how much it would be.

 

Front bumper is 220. they plastic wheel well cover is 45 and 35. repair will pry run you about 1500-2000 in labor alone. if you have the money DONT MAKE A INSURENCE claim! Insurence will never know and your rates will be the same! did you make a police report?

Haha I was actually thinking about getting a body kit, but i was confused how it works. What I mean is, if I were to take the Z to the body shop, wouldn't they only offer OEM parts for your car? Do I have to buy the body kit separate? Also, I can't believe the front bumper is only 220 dollars. Someone told me it's 900.

HAHA no way 900 dollars! Buy all the parts from performancenissan.com! If you take it to a body shop and you pay for the repair, you pick what you want. All you ask them is the quote for the repair and paint, and you tell them to give you the list of parts you need, and then buy them yourslef. ALOT CHEAPER THAT WAY. from the dealership they front bumper is 284.40, emblem is 30.27, lower chin spoiler is 271.16, the two reflectors are 23.00, and then all the brackets and stuff which range from 61 - 5. All those prices are from the dealership. you can save so much money if you buy all the parts from www.performancenissan.com and talk to eddie! AND if your head lights are damaged- 775.00 each from nissan. 605 each from eddie/performance nissan lol! if you need any help pm me.

First of all, why are you even posting on my thread? The parking lot was EMPTY for your information, it was around 2 in the morning. Why do you think I didn't hit any other CARS while my car spun out? Because there were no cars. And I didn't hit third gear in a Target parking lot, if you read carefully it obviously says I was on third ready to make a right turn then I heel toe to second. If you have a Z and you don't play with it, why did you even buy it? Go sell your car and get an altima.

you can get a used painted nismo front bumper for about 350...not sure about new price?...Just be careful in the rain sometimes....seems like u were safe in the parking lot but when u hit the streets...the rain got the best of you....

 

How about leaving your Z in the garage for a while and investing that money in learning how to drive. You are a complete a$$clown, and I'm glad you jacked up your Z. okay none of you guys can COMPLAIN about your INSURANCE rates... i'm 17/m, been in 4 accidents (totals), 2 speeding, 2 improper lane change, and 1 running red light.

my 1000 deductible every 6 months from geico is 3634. yes that's correct three thousand six hundred and thirty four dollars.
