windshield wiper
ok, not sure will this would go, not the repairing because its not broken, but im sure some of you think that the windshield wipers are very slow compared to some other cars out there.
me, i hate driving in the rain, and when its raining hard, i cant see anything with how slow they are. is there anything you can do/buy that will speed them up? has anyone let this bother them this much?lol

im talking about when they are on full blast. they are quick, but not as quick as they could be. like i had a honda for example before this car, those wipers hauled *** compared to the z.
and i used rain x once, from what i remember it built up on my wipers and made it hard to wipe the water off

try a product called Aquapel. Much much better than RainX. Also it lasts for like 3 months. It's what they use on airplanes. Airplanes don't have wipers for the rain.

Some airplanes have it, some don't, depending on the design and speed of the plane.
It rains pretty heavy in Denver too but thus far I haven't had a problem. I just drive alot slower cause:
1. Respect the road and performance of the Z
2. Driving slower will slow down the speed that the rain hits your windshield
3. Hydroplane! AVOID AT ALL COST!
4. RESPECT the road condition!

Airplanes that do not have wipers have a coating on the glass, much like what Mercedes Benz has and Toyota has on the 4runner. It works like Rainx. Its a pitty that Nissan did not put that on their cars.
ericjackson: Actually, you might be putting yourself in danger by using your hazards during hard rain. If you check this closely, we tend to lose track of gauging distance when the lights flash on and off since the light is the only thing that is visible, and for a split second we lose sight of the object (the light). It is even worse when there are several cars with hazards on in the rain. The best thing to ensure your car is always visible, is to turn on your headlights. The steady tail light source makes it easy for the driver behind you to gauge distance and keep track of the location of your car.
Nevertheless, you are a cautious driver, like me, and that is good.
