I've never been a fan of white cars.. too plain.
I’m certain that Nissan did some serious market research before selecting colors. Also consider sales: if Brickyard and Liquid Aluminum are not selling, why make them? (which Nissan does not).

The only way I will repaint is if I can take out my motor and take off my windows and door handles and interior... lotta work, but its the only way to paint something really.
The numbers come from another 350Z site, and are based on what 350Z owners are driving, not what the “like” or a poll. I believe that the chart is comparable to the overall 350Z population on the road.

Which color looks better is a very personal thing. But I can tell you what happened to me.

I had my mind set on either SS or CS. Called up the dealer and had them line up a SS side by side with a CS. Went to look at them, could not decide, it was a toss up. Saw a picture of PPW someone posted on one these Z sites that nite, called the dealer next day to line up SS, CS and PPW side by side. Ordered a PPW on the spot.

Have my baby for 2 years now, very happy with the PPW. If I had to do it over again, it will be PPW.

On the other hand, if I had a SS, I won't trade it just because the color. SS is still a very nice color. Wait for more changes and upgrade then trade it for more bangs for your bucks.

I would go with the PPW, it is far more exotic and noticible!

keep the silverstone, it's one of the best looking, if not the best color on the 350Z. the PPW paint looks nice and elegant, but the design of the Z is very aggressive, and SS is a color that further enhances instead of contradicts the Z's aggressive look. if it were a 300ZX, however, you'd have the opposite case.

PPW Z is more standout...
