When I was first getting the Z I was all about the Silverstone. Thought the White was ok but wasn't high on my list. Then when my wife and I went for a test drive we took out a Pikes Peak White one and it REALLY grew on us. It actually looks fairly clean even when dirty(from about 6 feet away) and it's got a real nice gold pearlesence when the sun hit's it the right way and you're up close. Plus you get the added bonus of the car not getting as hot parked in the sun as any of the other colors. Also, when you tint the windows it looks even better. So am I happy with the PPW? Hell yeah I am.

im biased, i drive a PPW, silverstone is a great color with the right wheels, they look terrible with the stockers to me for some reason. silverstone + gunmetal volks = win! but i still prefer PPW

+1
except i like ss and black wheels. I love the fact that ss is kinda dark but is very easy to keep clean.

To me:
SS=close to the aggressiveness of black, but much easier to keep clean. PPW=elegant, rich color which leans more toward luxury than sport.

I personally would have settled for a PPW but i was never able to find a track model near my area. I have a chrome silver 03 track and i love it. A PPW track model was my top choice but i gave up color for ttrack.

if your car doesnt have any mechanical problems now, i would still with the devil i know, over the devil i dont. ppw isnt hot enough to get rid of a ss for if you already have one, imo.

I can't tell you which is the best color, but I can say which is the most popular.

are you saying which is more "POPULAR" or more over abundant??? I've heard a lot of people "SETTLING" for the silverstone, because that was the most produced color...i love my PPW....I tinted out my rear quarter panels and the rear window and left my door windows clear....it looks BADASS...haha....plus, I don't like silver cuz it's so common, and it looks a little dull to me...if it was a regular plain-o white color, I wouldn't have gotten it...when you see your Z sitting next to a plain white car, you will NOT regret your choice...

Ouch DavidV. I seriously thought chrome silver was the most popular color (which is almost as popular as silverstone anyway). I don't feel so special with my Z now. If I wanna do a repaint, I better do it before all the plastic clips go out of production. The only way I will repaint is if I can take out my motor and take off my windows and door handles and interior... lotta work, but its the only way to paint something really.

Even tho we all know PPW rules...Just keep the SS. It's a waste of money to trade it in for a different color.

Wow! What is your source for that? White is a love or hate colour. I prefer the SS (obviously). Its nice to look at and still looks good when its dirty.

I've seen charts like that before. They did some market research before they started production on the '03s and as a result, they went way overboard on the two silver colors in '03 and '04 IMO. At least now, you have a reasonable chance of finding something besides silver at a dealership.

I've never been a fan of white cars.. too plain.

Silverstone may the most produced hence its "popularity". Its a nice color but WAY too many of them on the road which makes it somewhat bland. I see silver ones all over the place here...followed by blue then brickyard with white and black the rarest two.

+1, never thought I would ever buy a white car but once I saw a PPW up close I was in love.

I have said this about 15 times before .. and will say it again.

White .. PPW .. is the best, IMO.

I went with Silverstone .. thinking that the PPW would be too creamy .. NOT !

I am very happy with Silverstone .. but I would have been happier with PPW.

My next car .. GT-R, Supra, STi, Evo X, whatever it may be .. will be white, so help me God.

Of course, I think Silverstone looks better. I really don't like white cars. Just my opinion after owning a couple of white cars.

I actually went on a hunt for a Silverstone Base or Enth. They weren't that available when I was buying. I looked for over two weeks. I had to order one. Then, of course, the next I finally found one on a lot that they would cut me a good deal on. I really like the color !!!!

“Most Popular” means “most prevalent.” I think.
