Consider the possibilities:

His Dad/Mom/Sis just died.

He just caught his wife doing his best friend.

He has the *****.

Lost his job.

He's getting a BJ (but you can't see her).

Some people are just like that, because when they see a younger driver they always think they are up to no good, Just remember to ignore them next time and keep in mind you drive the same car as them and you are half the age!!!!

The way I see it, his attitude probably had nothing to do with G's or Z's.

The guy probably opened up his car on you, and at that moment when you guys were lined up again, he didn't want to get confrontational, since he knew he challenged you without being on "friendly" terms.
You might have been saying "excuse me sir" but he had no idea what you were going to ask next so he tuned you out and got on his phone.

For all he knew, you could have followed that "excuse me sir" with a:

a.) "...let's run again"
b.) "...Wtf were you thinking?!?"
c.) "...you want a nice asswhoopin? step out of the car!"

After the adrenaline rush of the first run, he was probably just scared shietless and proceeded to ignore you.

one thing that kind of surprises me is the fact there isn't much of a Z/G wave. i have a couple corvettes and had them for many years. 9 out of 10 corvette owners wave when you drive by when i'm in one of those. i thought the Z/G would be the same. i kind of get the feeling other z/g owners were a bit stuck up even if you are driving the same car, lol. as far as cost, mine is #42 all options and i paid exactly the same as the G35 msrp at the time. plus looking at my sig you can see alot more has been spent also!! just bugs me a bit when someone is stuck up or too good (they feel) to wave or aknowledge you.

I rolled up to a red Z once at a light, made eye contact with the driver, and said "heyy.. nice ride!" SHE proceeded to stick her nose in the air and ignore me, like I was trying to hit on her or something. She should be so lucky. It was like she didn't even get it, that I was driving the exact same car in black. Could people really be that dumb/unfriendly?

similar story...a cute little blonde girl was washing her white g35c at my apt complex. id never seen her or her car around. so as im leaving in my z i go by slowly(gotta love that exhaust note), she looks up and i give her a head nod. a few seconds later i was started to wonder is she knew the associaiton of the z/g .she probably thought i was just trying to make a pass or something. idk

where im at theres more g35c's than Z's. like 2:1

You dont get any type of love in Cali...Dont know why...whenever i see a Z i look at the driver, but never get that "what up" type of feel. just the "whatever look."

But i do like seeing girls driving the Z its just sexy as hell.

i have an 05 350z red. people always comment, "hey why didn't you get the g35 instead?" well when people ask that, i automatically know they're not real enthusiasts. they just want the g35 so they can put 20" rims on it and be gay.

i think the 350z looks 20x's better than the g35.if i wanted a sporty coupe, i probably would have gotten a 3 series or something.

Ahhh I would not take it that far.....You make it seem like it's a hyundai or something. The G is a sexy car hands down.....

i personally like the Z front better. but i like the G rear better. i have all the options as the G so the interior is kind of a wash for me. even though i do kind of like the gadget effect of the navi going into the dash. but i still like to see it all the time too. back seat might be kinda nice, but none of my friends would fit back there and i don't have kids so it really doesn't matter. i think the Z just has more of a performance advertising behind it and the G has more luxury advertising behind it, even though they are basically the same, and almost the same price with the same options.

do what i do, i don't really say hi or talk to G owners, so then I never have to hear about how great they think their cars are.

note: i'm only referring to mean people, cause I know first hand that G enthusiasts are awesome people...just talking about the everyday car consumers. haha
