Alright, so I'm driving home down Pines Blvd. after eating dinner with my lil' brother at the Japanese restuarant I work at. This guy, he must've been 'bout 40ish, comes flying up on my tail in his G35. We're coming up to a light 'n I switch lanes 'n pull up next to him. I'm looking over at him to see if he's gonna take off on me. The light turns green 'n he does wanna play, so I gun it after him. He took off on my already so I'm trying to catch up, but had to shut down cause the next light just turned red. I pull up next to him again 'n I go "Excuse me sir." cause I wanted to know where he bought his G; I'm interested in purchasing the wing for the G 'n putting it on my Z, but I wanna see what the dealer is offering so I can shop around. Now, a regular courteous human being would respond back. This guy, who looked like one of those "I drive an expensive car" type lookin' ********, doesn't even bother to look up. I'm just trying to be nice. He ignores me 'n just dials his phone. I'm yelling over to him, we both have our windows down mind you, 'n he just pretends like I'm not even there. What a terrible human being. I mean, c'mon, you're 40 yrs old, show some damn courtesy. Snotty ****.

 

I really dont see the problem. He probably just didn't hear you.

 

you ever read that thread about the guy with a track Z talking to a lady in a G coupe. she told him he couldnt afford a car like hers. (his track was as much or more expensive than her G) dumb bit<h

he bought it to make himseld feel younger, he probably hits on 30 yr old woman...sad old man

 

Not all of us G35C owners are all that bad. I'm always happy when I see or hear a brother Z owner drive by.

 

Half the time when someone seems to be ignoring me or being mean I figure it really is not me at all, they are probably having a bad day, could have a migraine headache, fought with their spouse in the morning, worried about someone. SOOOOO... I just give them the benefit of the doubt. Try to look at things from their perspective. And if you are really good at it, try to get them to laugh.

 

Oh yea, I'm sure most G35 owners are awesome people. I'm not generalizing here, but seriously man, that guy had a serious worm up his culo or somethin'. I'm sure he hear dme, considering I was yelling over my car AND his. A simple question 'n he had to act like a complete jerk...tsk tsk.

So far, all the G35c owner I have talked to are people from local meets and they have all been younger owners and love both G and Z. maybe it's an age thing?

I think its funny how all of a sudden you wanted a car AFTER I got mine... =)

Instead of spending YOUR thirty something on a car that drives really fast, you could have bought a car with a luxury ride, leather seats that seats 4 people AND has a 3.5L engine with 280 HP.

Oh I get it... you want to drive really fast to work... in traffic... =D

I remember a while back I saw this Z around town who had a Injen exhaust I believe. I was looking for the same and pulled up to him and asked him what exhaust it was. He then proceeded to reply " Figure it Out " and peeled out. I swear if I was not with my Ex girl in the car I would have gave him a reply back.....What a A-hole to act like that to another Zer. I always have been cool with the Z or G crowd and anyone else also. No reason to act like that

 

man...there's some gay people out there....when i have my windows down and hang my arm outside my window, i get some people tell me "you workout a lot don't ya?"...hahaha

 

Some people are just too ignorant to realize that actin' like a dick now will come back to bite them in the ***.

But on a good note, I was driving home from work last night 'n I saw this other Z on the road, so I speed up 'n we play around on the street a lil'. We weren't racing but we were just messin' around. We both pull up to the light 'n we're commenting on each other's cars, say our good wishes 'n farewells, 'n go our seperate ways. I oono what the technical name is for the '03 purple color, but man, I so wish they made it for my '05. It looks so nice on the Z...that lucky guy.

 

Purple color is called Brickyard rather a rare color also.

 

I find it too uncomfortable to try and hang my arm of the Z's window haha.

1 lemans sunset (me)
1 solid black
1 chrome silver
1 silverstone

Maybe Canada had more of that colour available?

I find that most people are oblivious to their surroundings and tune everything out but themselves. The guy probably didn't even know you were on the planet.

 

Here is a theory I have been coming up with when I meet these kinds of people.

I think they are feeling good because they think they are the nicest car in the vicinity. Then comes along this other car that is just as nice and now they think they are not getting all the stares and they think they are no longer the only special car in the vicinity.

I think we all get this feeling. Some of us are mature about it and are friendly. Some are just ******** about it and want you to get out of their "territory" or they will try to get far away so they can be the special car again and not have to share the attention with another.
