I would push it all the way, but when i race i often push half way and ride the clutch.

I push it down all the way only on first gear. The rest I press down maybe an inch or two. I have much smoother shifts this way.

Same, I just cant shift 1st to 2nd (very well) pressing only an inch. Here and there I get some good shifts with pressing an in or 2 though.

pressing the clutch all the way causes the rpm to drop too much by the time you touch the pedal to the metal.....so I just do enuf to shift smoothly
