Took my 04 on a 3500 mile trip month of August last year - averaged 27 mpg for the entire trip door to door . I get 21 around town all the time. I drive75 to 85 on highways - and like to ZIP when possible .

but yesterday i drafted behind SUVs on my trip to NY and i almost hit 29mpg around 80 in 6th.
Then of course NYC traffic destroyed what i've earned lol..
going flat out 120+ really eat alot of gas i had 1/2 tank and it became 3/7th in like 2 minutes of WOT acceleration in 5th.. =(

MPG is better at 80 MPH than 55 MPH? Interesting. Post some photos of your MPG/average speed readout.

My peak MPG is at around 55mph. Seems to peak at 34 MPG. The faster I go from there, the more it drops. At 80mph it's under 30 for sure.

I get 16 around the city, but I like to "step on it" quite a bit.

Cruizin on the highway in traffic at around 60mph yields over 30mpg!

Yeah I get 32mpg on the freeway when I am cruising but around town it's down to 19... But 32 is really good for an AT.

I went 1400 miles just a week ago. I did mostly 80-90mph and averaged 27mph.
Around town I get either 21 or 23...

This weekend I made two late night runs to Marina Del Rey, and found that my car maxes out at 25.8 mpg at 76 mph. Any more it goes down, any less it goes down. This was all done with the top down, of course.

just gun it really hard every time you drive it
its like 10 dollar difference and i'd happily pay that to not get ****-blocked by this notion of gas milage...
so you know right now
im pushing 5000rpm even on normal school commutes
f*ck that i bought this car for 2 simple reasons - to drive and have loads of raw fun not having to worry about gas if i drive a sportscar
man... come on!
like on the high way tell me 4th gear is not ridiculously exciting to accerlate in

I believe that its accurate if you give it time. Say 5 minutes after reset.

I get 30+ mpg on the freeway going 55-70mph.

I regularly see readings of 29.5, 30.1, 31.5,32, and sometimes 33-34mpg!
