Yep....went through that whole process. Only difference is that many dealerships, mine included, decline to install the part, though they were happy to order it for me. I ended up ordering my switch from airbagonoff.com to get the part and the install (which they came to my house to do). The dealership will definitely make you sign a waiver of liability for the work they do...It's all about CYA these days.

Again, glad it worked out that you got to keep your Z.
