Default my z help i have to call dealer tommorow

Ok so ive been hav ing tranny problems the dealer replaced my transmisson. They said my clutch is worn too but its not under warrenty. I honestly dont knwo what to do. shouldn't it be under warranty they said the clutch looked like it has been raced on. Which i drive fast its an fin sports car. And now and again i take it on some curvy roads for fun and go crazy but I dont autocross and its never been to the track. I have launched a few times. But what you think i should do fight it or buy an aftermarket clutch while I can and save myslef some money since the tranny is already out.

they will not replace your clutch under warranty no matter what, its a wear item, just like tires, brakepads, etc etc... So just get yourself a nice aftermarket clutch, i got my JWT clutch when I had my tranny replaced, my stocker was fine, but I got a new one anyways and havent had any problems with it since, its been on for 20k+ miles already.

Agree. The clutch is a "wear and tear" item.

When I had my tranny replaced the dealership also replaced the clutch. Maybe because it being a faulty tranny could also mean my clutch was prematurely wearing due to my efforts to get the damn thing to engage.
