Anyways...I know that this is a tight community and I feel like I am part of the family as well. Anyways, I bought stillen headers off 10secz and then all these people called him out as a fraud and I started to shiet my pants. I thought for sure that I got ripped off after all of the drama that went on. Well...it turns out that HE IS LEGIT. I got the tracking # from him yesterday and I received my headers today. Yeah, maybe he is not much of a businessman and maybe he could have done a better job and handled things differently, but I just wanted everyone to know that he truly was trying to help people out. He just completely did it IN THE WRONG WAY. I hope in the future we won't be so quick to jump all over someone but at the same time I do appreciate all of the good lookin out. I know that everyone that was concerned hoped that I, and everyone else, was not being ripped of and I appreciate that. It is just too bad that he was being so stupid because he had a lot of great stuff and could have been a great help to all of us. Any feedback or input is appreciated. I'll post some pics soon.

Anyone have suggestions of where I should get them installed?
I want somenone experienced to do the install that has worked on the g35/350z before. Thanks

Labor on those headers are gonna be a b1tch ... but prob well worth it

I dont know of any shops first hand... but EVERYONE has been reccomending Street Image to me.

I would look them up if i were you.

Yea lets just wait for the arrival of OEM pieces or cracked collectors ..

 

As far as I know, there isn't a stillen stamp/logo on the real ones.
A friend of mine was interested in the same headers from 10secz, but for all I know he could have been selling cheapy headers (like the ones off of ebay) as stillen ones. So since there was really no way of telling, my friend didn't get 'em.

I hope he did send you authenic stillen headers, but nowadays there are a lot of scammers out there, just hope 10secz isn't one of them.

he goes under wheelsboutique on ebay. either that or its just coincidence that all the wheels he had listed here are listed by chance on ebay by some other guy.

 

I *think* that the Stillen headers have a small tag welded to one of the primaries that states that they are for off-road use only. AFAIK none of the others have this.

Nexx...he just used the pics from the wheels boutique cuz he was lazy. I'm sure many people have stolen others' pics and put them on ebay...whatever...i am not really trying to back him up. I am trying to figure out for myself if I got the right headers.

 

If I ever had to second guess if the parts I purchased were not genuine... then I would not do business with that person. I guess thats why I allways stick with well established vendors.

 

i heard it was just a sticker that says "off road use only", not welded on.
i could be wrong tho, I've never actually seen the headers in person.

 

It was obvious that he was either:

1) A scammer
2) An unauthorized vendor selling parts

We were trying to figure it out and he became very hostile. I am glad it worked out for you that #2 was the correct answer.
