The Z is not better than an S2000. Only Z is better is a 6 speed and non covertible.
S2000 vs Base 350Z automatic Convertible... S2000 owns it
Only 350Z 6speed coupe > S2000
So the statement "All 350Z is faster than S2000" is not True

I've driven both cars extensively, I personally believe the 350 is quicker in the straight. Especially from a roll. The s2 may have an edge on the track due to weight, but again, depending on the type of track. Then again, its so close its almost not worth comparing.

This is kind of how formula one car's work. They are have high horsepower and low torque engine's. This is ok because once they get at the speeds that they do, they don't ned as much torque. That is why I say the extra torque doesnt help the Z on the freeway. To be honest with you it doesn't seem to help it off the line much either.
This is what I gather, you are saying that formula one cars dont need as much torque at high speeds. What does 'as much' mean here ? What are you comparing them to, drag racers with lot of torque?
If you didnt know, with very simple mods Z can do 1.0g on lateral skidpad, does that outhandle the stock S2K?

Serious question.
I honestly want to know (from people who have experience)
Is a honda S2000 a faster car than a 350z? (DE only)
I rarely ever see them, but when I do I always wonder how quick they are, and I do not want to be stupid and street race and I hate watching youtube videos to find out.
I am just wondering from the members on here from having raced one, is it a faster car?
On paper, our cars sound better, but they have the power/weight advantage. I keep hearing they are neck and neck and it comes down to the driver.
For this example lets use the AP1 S2000 (yes I know its an AP2 in the pics) but I wanna keep it fair for the DE and stay in the same year bracket.

Your z will decimate all once you put in about $15k, if you have to overnight parts from Japan. With that said if you want to bench race most v6 family and luxury cars will outrun the de and s2k. Some rav4 v6s will leave both de and beat down s2ks in the dust.

Yeah that's what I was thinking but you never know, some people do some crazy custom work so I figured it was possible it was something of the sort. But as I mentioned I didn't realize they were any kind of fast XD never thought of a rav 4 when thinking about anything with the ability to move. Everyone always drives them as a mommy SUV when I've seen them.

I raced one, on a track in south florida. It was a 1/8 drag from a 40 roll, I was in a bone stock hr and he had a bolted ap2. I beat him by a half a car length, but I think the s2k handles better.
