Default quick starting question

when i'm starting off, everything feels good and fine. But when i am starting off to make a turn(90 degrees), the car feels sluggish. i sometimes feel like oncoming cars will hit me. I was wondering what causes that and if it's normal. maybe the lsd? oh yeah, i have an 03 touring with tein basics being the only mod. and also, if i hit it really hard, the car will kinda kick and feel like it looses torque. that must be the traction control, right? please excuse my lack of knowings and thanks for future replies.

How fast are you making your turns? Traction control only kicks in when it thinks you're losing control.

You also should realize that if you crank your wheel prior to accelerating, you're making it much harder for the engine to get the car moving. If you think about the direction that engine power is applied in (forward, down the center line of the car), your front tires are almost acting as a brake in that direction because they are facing off to one side and the engine is having to push the car through the turn. It's kind of like trying to start peddaling a bicycle with the front wheel turned 90 degress....almost impossible.
