Great for a daily driver... Supercharged Z with 21000 miles getting the **** beat out of it every day.

36k and no major problems except what I caused.

 

I think the Z is average as far as reliability goes...it's hardly ever going to leave you stranded. It is probably above average in the number of design flaws though. Obviously there's the tire problem...and the tranny is horribly designed but I haven't heard too many stories about it leaving people at the roadside.

Does anyone else feel like the Z is a very verbal car? There are TSBs for brake squeaks, suspension clunks, AC growls, rearview mirror rattles, tire growl...and don't even get me started on the tranny which whines more than a spoiled girl from long island!

23k miles- I've only been stranded once by my Z, and thats due to a dead battery (why it was dead I have no idea, but luckily I was stranded at a checkers parking lot). other than that, I've got excessive inner tire wear, paint that looks like **** from all the chips and cracks, and a bunch of squeaks and grinds from all sorts of places, but I still love the car.
