Well I been wanting a 03-05 Touring SilverStone with Burnt Orange Interior, But the thing is no dealers that i talked to have it. they either have it but its an 06 with no NAV or its superblack color. So they told me about this SilverStone Touring with the black interior but i said thats not what I want. So here is my question is it posibble to replace (exchange interiors) the Interior from the superblack which have the Burnt Orange Interior to the silverstone with the black interior. Oh and btw.. Is the leather Seats the only thing orange in the Burnt Orange Interior? or is there other parts?

they can't do it, cause the seats have airbags i wanted a super black with the burnt orange seats but i ended up gettin a silverstone with burnt orange seats i asked them to take the seats out of the silverstone and put it into the super black which had the typical black interior they said no go...

I have been debating the same thing. I just bought a 03 touring and the only thing I would have different is the leather color. The auction states that it is compatable with the side air bags too. Good luck!

If there are no side air bags in the seats we can do the leather work. If there is side air bags you can still have it done but because of liability we can't do it.

So do only 06 have side air bags or do all years 03-06 have side air bags?

also dont all Touring Edition come with stock NAVI?

Nope you only get a Nav when u ask for it. And touring track and GT models can get them. Not sure about enthu. or base.

In Southern Califoria there are no 350Z Touring 2005 or 2006 Manual 6-SP, with Stock Navigation and none coming in the next month

CAn someone show me the stock NAVI ? and the full name of it (brand, model)

 

Here's a pic of the stock navigation. The company that makes the disks is Zenrin http://www.zenrin.com/. I am unsure if they do the entire system. Hope this helps

Check out the for sale classifieds in this forum and maybee a couple other forums. I know that I saw a few guys who wanted to trade b.o. for black seats.

 

SS with burnt orange is really rare to find in the classifieds.I had to wait 3 weeks for the dealership to track down my car... good luck finding it.

 

Side airbags are an option on all trims; not standard on any. Some aftermarket companies can sell you leather for airbag equipped seats, but would you want to possibly trust your life to an installer? I wouldn't.

 

Well an "installer", actually combination of many, built your entire car, so whats the difference. Your trusting your life to them.

 

Uhh...those "installers" represent Nissan who accepts full liability for their work and runs extensive tests on airbags in leather-covered seats. Perhaps your local upholstery shop has a multimillion$ testing facility incorporated in it. Mine doesn't.

 

no.... i ment check the classifieds in the 350z formums online. people have the b.o. seats and want to trade them for black ones.

 

Oh i have another question. So some Z's have no navigation system but they do have the space where it was. so do those buttons (black ones ) come with nav or they are still there even if it dosent have navi?

buttons are not there. All that is there is an empty hole.

 

yea thats why I want a stock one or atleast something that does inside ( where the nav goes) one of my plants is to have 2 screens like this

 

Now that's true bling! It's similar to what I plan on doing some day. May be an Eclipse 2404/2494 for A/V or perhaps a JDM Eclipse 2-din HU without video, but a full screen nonetheless. I really like this look.
