I just had Circuit City install the Delphi SkyFi system with the Delphi RF Modulator into my new Z. The unit was installed into the Nav space. I take the car home, park it in the garage and come back an hour later......I open the door and the Alarm goes off!! The horn will not stop honking!, even after starting the engine and clicking the alarm button on the key ring.....does anyone have any idea as to what the problem is....or am I just missing something? The alarm finally did stop after about 2 minutes. This happened a few times......any time the door opens or closes it triggers the alarm. Any help would be appreciated.

When I picked up my Z , I discussed the awkward set up for the radar detector plug . The sales manager said to be careful and do not wire into the ignition and that one of their technicians was offering to hard wire radar detectors directly to the battery for any customer( and real cheap too so it wasn't a $$$ come on ) . He said they were warned by Nissan to the sensitivity of the electricals . I bought a cordless Solo instead .Perhaps there is something to what he was saying in your case also or maybe not . I just thought I 'd pass that on to you . Good luck ! I hope you solve it !
