Default How do I classify my car!

Hi Everybody, I',m new here and this is my first thread. hope this is in it's right forum. I got my car this October 1, and MSRP is 29,100.00. 6 speed M/T, No Bose, No Navigation, No Cruise Control, No TC, No VDC, No Autodimming rear view mirror, 6 speaker system. Air bags (side, driver, passenger, curtain), 18x8 front 225/24, 18x8.5 rear 245/45 (both forged/35th anniversay edition???), aerondynamic package. If this was base, why would the MSRP that much? for another $50 I have the enthusias which have the TC and other accessories. By the way it's silverstone which i thought it was graphite which i remember having seen it in its info stickers. Any replies is appreciated. thanks and happy motoring.

first of all, there is no "graphite" in the Z colours.

Second, if you don't have VDC nor TC, then yes you have a base.

Third, if your wheels are forged, they are from the track model (probably sold them to you as an option as apparently you didn't do much homework before you bought the car - no offence). Therefore,

Finally, you were ripped off.

Welcome to the forum.

I did a quick work up on Nissan's web site. In my zip code, a base model with 18" chrome rims (the only "factory" option wheel for the base) and side airbags has an MSRP of $30,425.

Buying a plain-jane Enthusiast with no "options" (but which would give you the steering wheel mounted audio controls, a limited slip diff, cruise control and TCS would have run you an MSRP of just $29,755.

It pays to do your homework, so while the above post is a bit harsh, it's kinda true. In any case....WTTC, and I hope you enjoy your Z!

+1. The paint code is under the hood. Check the code at Courtesy Nissan to get the proper name of the color.

Thank you guys for the replies. At that time i didn't intend to trade in my car (02 3.5 SE) since that cam shaft sensor mulfunctioned and they didn't have the parts i had no option since. then they showed me a brand new z with all the paint and wheel protectors still intact which arrived sept 31 (i got the car the following day oct 1). msrp was at 29,100.00 which was on its window sticker. Do you think Nissan would post something and later pull back once the unit is out?

[QUOTE=danroydlc] msrp was at 29,100.00 which was on its window sticker. QUOTE]
If the MSRP was $29,100, and you paid $29,100, ignore the naysayers. You’re driving a 350Z. That’s all that counts.
