Not just because I have one but I really think it is a good buy. I have to agree with the rest on this one. Touring Edition!

The '05 Base has the best torque/weight ratio of all Z's. If you're looking for 0-60 fastest, this is your choice. The LSD (+weight) is great for off-ramps or winding-roads in the Swiss Alps...

Try them out yourself. Personally I preferred the cloth seats and saw almost no improvement in the Bose stereo over the stock one. So I opted for an Enthusiast model.

Enthusiast has LSD and TCS; no VDC. Any higher trim comes +VDC

VDC is great when you wanna run twisties as hard as possible, without much worry. This weekend at the tail of the dragon, there were a few occasions where we were really pushing our cars HARD and you could feel the VDC kick in on a number of occasions (mostly front-outside tire in a tight curve).

Anyway, I love my touring. Leather-power-heated seats and the upgraded stereo system, including in-dash 6CD changer and 7 speakers (one is a subwoofer). Plus you get every option... except bembros and navigation. The bembros don't stop any faster, from my experience, atleast not initially. They just better resist fade after repeated hard breaking. Buy the stop-tech stage 1 upgrade $650 and call it a day. And as for navigation, I never understood why previously only the "track" model came with it because if you can't find your way around a track without navigation... just kinda humored me is all.

I wouldn't call any one model faster than another. With nothing but a JWT popcharger upgrade, I ran 13.7 @103 in the 1/4 mile... and I have the "heaviest" model I think.
